Description:

ACTIV OMEGA+ is a blend of oils with an unrivalled level of omega-3 in the plant world that surpasses all other oils. Vegetable oil extracted from the black seeds of Perilla frutescens supplies 65% ALA (alpha-linoleic acid, an omega-3 fatty acid) and approximately 12% omega-6 fatty acids.

It also contains a good proportion of omega-9 fatty acids (between 14 % and 23 %). In addition to offering an excellent balance of omega-3, -6 and -9 fatty acids, OMEGA+ oil blend is easily absorbed by the body at any age, while also helping to optimize the conversion of ALA to EPA and subsequently DHA even after age 60.

The recommended daily intake of omega-3 ALA is 2 grams, which is the minimum amount needed to properly fuel the brain, regulate cholesterol levels, stimulate intellectual activity and support growth in children.
