Vitamin B2 - Riboflavin

Riboflavin is vitamin B2. It is widely found in foods of both plant and animal origin, including milk, meat, eggs, nuts, fortified flour and green vegetables. It is necessary for the proper development of the skin, the lining of the digestive tract, blood cells and brain function. People most commonly use riboflavin for migraine headaches and for high homocysteine levels in the blood. It is also used for acne, muscle cramps, but there is no good quality scientific evidence to support these other uses.
